Luk-Dim-Boon-Kwun

Six and a half Point Pole.

Long-Pole

The Luk-Dim-Boon-Kwun (Six-and-a-Half-Point Long Pole Techniques) is the combination of "giving up the use of force, deflecting (re-directing) on-coming force, borrowing and making use of the on-coming force to make rebounds and generating the force" with the quadrilateral level-stance.

In addition to the fundamental form of the Luk-Dim-Boon-Kwun, the most important method in learning the Luk-Dim-Boon-Kwun is Chi Kwun (Pole-Clinging exercise). Once this skill has been mastered, the trainee can use very simple and direct methods to overcome the opponent. There is a saying is Wing Tsun: Once the two poles have met and made a noise, you already know who the winner is.
